Committees & Project Groups

EPAN has several committees and project groups that focus on various aspects of diversity and inclusion in the aviation industry. These committees and project groups work together to create a more inclusive and equitable workplace for all employees, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other aspect of identity. Aeromedical

The aeromedical working group focuses on promoting the health and wellbeing of aviation professionals, with a particular emphasis on issues related to diversity and inclusion. This committee works with organizations and individuals in the aviation industry to promote policies and practices that support the health and wellbeing of all employees, regardless of their background or identity.

Allies

The allies committee is focused on building a network of allies who are committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the aviation industry. This committee works to educate and engage individuals and organizations in the industry, and provides them with the tools and resources they need to become effective allies.

Local Chapter Support

The local chapter support committee is focused on supporting and building local chapters of EPAN around Europe. This committee works with individuals and organizations in the aviation industry to promote diversity and inclusion in their local communities, and provides them with the support and resources they need to create effective local chapters.

IT Infrastructure

The IT infrastructure working group is focused on building and maintaining the technology infrastructure that supports EPAN’s mission. This working group works to ensure that EPAN’s technology systems are secure, reliable, and user-friendly, and provides support to EPAN’s other committees and project groups.

Advocacy

The advocacy committee is focused on advocating for policies and practices that promote diversity and inclusion in the aviation industry. This committee works with organizations and individuals in the industry to promote policies and practices that support a more diverse and inclusive workplace, and provides them with the resources and support they need to be effective advocates.

Mentorship

The mentorship working group is focused on building mentorship relationships between experienced aviation professionals and individuals who are just starting out in the industry. This committee provides mentorship opportunities and resources to help individuals develop their skills and knowledge, and connect with experienced professionals who can support them in their careers.

Women’s committee

The women’s committee is focused on promoting the interests and well-being of women in the aviation industry. This committee works to educate and engage individuals and organizations in the industry on issues related to gender and diversity, and provides resources and support to women in the industry.

Transgender and Non-Binary

The transgender and non-binary committee is focused on promoting the interests and well-being of transgender and non-binary individuals in the aviation industry. This committee works to educate and engage individuals and organizations in the industry on issues related to gender identity and diversity, and provides resources and support to transgender and non-binary individuals in the industry.

General Aviation

The general aviation committee is focused on promoting the interests and well-being of individuals and organizations in the general aviation industry. This committee works to educate and engage individuals and organizations in the industry on issues related to diversity and inclusion, and provides resources and support to general aviation professionals.

Business Aviation

The business aviation committee is focused on promoting the interests and well-being of individuals and organizations in the business aviation industry. This committee works to educate and engage individuals and organizations in the industry on issues related to diversity and inclusion, and provides resources and support to business aviation professionals.

Scholarship Selection Committee

The Scholarship Selection Committee at EPAN is a group of dedicated volunteers who are responsible for reviewing and selecting deserving candidates for the EPAN scholarship program. The committee members bring their expertise in the aviation industry and a passion for diversity and inclusion to the selection process. Their goal is to support individuals who are seeking to further their careers in aviation and who demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion in their personal and professional lives.

Train the Industry Committee

The Train the Industry Committee works closely with other organizations, experts, and stakeholders in the aviation industry to design and deliver comprehensive training programs. They use hands-on and interactive techniques to engage participants and help them to understand the importance of diversity and inclusion. The training programs are designed to be practical and relevant, with a focus on real-world scenarios and best practices in the industry.
